Canada Greener Homes Loan Program

The Canada Greener Homes Loan helps Canadians make their homes more energy-efficient and comfortable. It offers interest-free (0%) financing in addition to the Canada Greener Homes Grant to help you complete some of the more major retrofits recommended by your energy advisor.

Maximum: $40,000
Minimum: $5,000
Repayment term: 10 years, interest-free
Loan type: Unsecured personal loan on approved credit.

CMHC MLI SELECT Program (Multi-Unit)

The MLI Select Program by CMHC is a federal initiative that supports housing development by offering mortgage insurance for multi-unit properties (5+ units), making it easier to access favorable financing in order to encourage apartment construction

Up to 95% LTV financing with as little as 5% down payment required

Extended amortization periods of up to 50 years

10 year mortgage terms for increased cash flow stability

Below prime interest rates

Reduced minimum debt coverage ratios & Decreased insurance premiums

Toronto Home Energy Loan Program (HELP)

The Home Energy Loan Program (HELP), offered by the City of Toronto, provides low-interest financing to help homeowners make energy-efficient upgrades that reduce utility bills and increase home comfort. Through HELP, you can finance upgrades such as insulation improvements, high-efficiency heat pumps, new windows and doors, and renewable energy installations.

Home Renovation Savings Program

Enbridge Gas and Save on Energy, with support from the Ontario Government, have partnered to launch the new Home Renovation Savings™ program to help Ontarians improve home energy efficiency and comfort.* Rebates that require a home energy assessment

Heat Pump Water Heater: $500
Windows & Doors: $100 per opening
Insulation: Up to $8900 (Attic, Wall, Foundation & Exposed floor)

Air Sealing: Up to $250​

Canada Greener Homes Grant

We want to help Canadians make where they live more energy efficient. The Canada Greener Homes Initiative will help homeowners save money, create new jobs across Canada for energy advisors and fight climate change.

Grants from $125 to $5,000

To get back a portion of your costs for eligible home retrofits

As a maximum contribution toward the total costs of your pre- and post retrofit EnerGuide evaluations.

Enbridge HER+ Program

Enbridge Gas and the Canada's Greener Homes Grant have partnered to provide rebates towards eligible retrofits such as home insulation, windows and doors, heat pumps and renewable energy systems. The new, co-ordinated Home Efficiency Rebate Plus program will help more Ontarians save energy at home. This is great news for residents across the province, including current Enbridge Gas customers who use natural gas to heat their homes and will benefit from enhanced rebates up to $10,000. Participants can also offset the cost of their EnerGuide home evaluation with an additional rebate of $600. Before you start any renovation work, you must complete a home energy assessment.

CMHC ECO Plus Program

Energy-efficient homes can be linked to increased comfort and healthier living while improving energy efficiency reduces greenhouse gas emissions and lowers the cost of owning and maintaining your home. CMHC Green Home offers a premium refund of up to 25% to borrowers who either buy, build or renovate for energy efficiency using CMHC-insured financing.

Better Homes Kingston Program

Kingston homeowners are now eligible for a zero-interest loan for home energy efficiency improvements.

Better Homes Kingston is a local improvement charge (LIC) financing program to encourage homeowners to undertake deep-energy retrofits. Homeowners who participate in the program will qualify for up to $40,000 loans at 0 per cent interest, with the option for an initial 30 per cent upfront to pre-pay contractors for your services. This project is carried out with assistance from the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ Green Municipal Fund, an endowment created by the Government of Canada.

Enbridge HER Program

Up to $5600 rebate for your HOME energy efficiency upgrades for Enbridge & Union Gas customer.

Enbridge Home energy rebate is available for insulation upgrades such as attic insulation, Wall insulation, Crawl Space and basement insulation, energy star Windows and doors, High efficiency Furnace rebate, Water heaters rebate and air sealing.

Guelph Greener Homes Program

The City of Guelph's Greener Homes Program is now actively accepting applications, providing homeowners with powerful financial support including 0% interest loans of up to $50,000 and complementary grants up to $15,000. These incentives are designed to make essential energy-efficiency upgrades both accessible and affordable.
